Vincennes, December 23, 2009 - Heurtey Petrochem (ISIN FR0010343186), the leading independent furnaces for the refining and petrochemical industries, today announced the signing of two important contracts in the fields of hydrogen and refining.

 Heurtey Petrochem has won two contracts totaling 79 million euros for modernization of the refinery in Pancevo in Serbia, on behalf of the company Naphtha Industrial Serbia (NIS), controlled by the Russian company Gazprom .

These contracts include:

• The turnkey delivery of two furnaces for refining the new hydrocracking unit designed to process heavy oils;

• The turnkey delivery of a combined production of hydrogen needed to operate the unit using hydrocracking technology and Haldor Topsoe.

The completion of these projects will use international forces group with input from several subsidiaries, including India for much of the detailed studies, Romania for the manufacture of critical components of furnaces and Russia. The activity on-site assembly will be conducted by Serbian companies. Delivery of the set is scheduled from September 2011 to January 2012.
